MIXED MEDIA ON PAPER
Acrylic paint, gesso, ink, oil pastels, charcoal, pencil, and watercolor crayons are my tools of choice. I add newspaper, tissue paper, miscellaneous documents and artwork from my past, and other papers that catch my attention and beg to be included. I love the ripping, tearing, and cutting of these materials to create edges, textures and layers that interact with the painted surface in unexpected ways.
A few of these paintings on paper are framed. Most are sold unframed.
